Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 slices vegan, gluten-free bread cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • pink salt as desired
  • black pepper as desired

Instructions

  • Add the cubed bread to a large bowl.
  • In a separate small bowl, add in the oil and seasonings. Stir to combine.
  • Drizzle over top of the bread, tossing to coat with the oil mixture.
  • Spread the coated bread cubes in an even layer onto an air fryer tray in a single layer.
  • Bake for 4 minutes at 375 degrees F. Stop the air fryer after 2 minutes, shake the bread around, then put it on for another 2 minutes. The bread will turn that golden brown color very fast, so keep an eye on it!
  • Once done in the air fryer, allow the bread to cool before using in a salad. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Storage
    • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days. If they lose their crunch, you can re-crisp them in the air fryer for a few minutes.
